  Community Legal Services is a not-for-profit law firm that offers many types of legal services to low-income individuals and communities in Central Arizona and especially in Maricopa County. The firm’s central office is located in Phoenix and provides assistance with practice areas such as family law, public benefits, employment issues, consumer protection, housing problems, and farm worker assistance.

  Chicanos Por La Causa was originally founded to address the needs of poor Hispanic communities in Phoenix, but it has expanded its operations to low-income individuals and communities across Arizona. Its social services programs offer help with certain legal issues, including immigrations, elder services, and housing.

• Family Lawyer’s Assistance Project (FLAP)

  FLAP offers free intake sessions to low-income people representing themselves in family court. There is a $40 fee per intake session for those who are above the poverty line.

• Arizona Center for Disability Law (ACDL)
